I know DA is not what it used to be. Most of my +1k watchers are gone and I get like 0 exposure here...but I've been thinking about it and I'm going to start including DA in my promotion routine again. I guess I'll try to find new friends here!!
New StickUp Monsters toy: Dorobanii!
Dorobanii is the latest addition to the StickUp Monsters universe, and it has its own figure for the toy line!
Dorobanii is a little and timid jackalope that used to live in a North American desert. He was used to his life: some chilling at the desert, then some house robbing at the city. He stole a little bit of everything: from human food he enjoyed to small jewels and things that could pass unnoticed and people would think they had lost.

Dorobanii is a 4.3in (11cm) hand cast and hand painted resin figure. Created and designed by Javier Jiménez, sculpted by Cristina Ravenna and painted by Javier.
The toy will be first available on Sunday 25th of October at 11AM EST, at www.stickupmonsters.bigcartel.com in two different editions: the original colorway and a Halloween version. Both will have very limited quantities with the Halloween version being a closed edition of just 15 pieces available worldwide.
Last week I uploaded a project to the crowdfunding platform IndieGoGo. I wanted to transform my character Wananeko from a resin figure to a Japanese soft vinyl toy aka sofubi. Sofubi is the material in which the Japanese have been producing their kaiju and yokai toys since the 60s, so no vinyl in the world can equal the quality of Japanese sofubi.
I needed $6,000 to make the toy, and the project was fully funded in less than two days! So I established a new goal: to make the Baby version of the figure (first seen in resin on this campaign) in Japanese vinyl too! Now all we need is to hit $8,000, and we already have $7,608, with still 22 days to go! Once we hit the stretch goal, those who pre-ordered the vinyl Wananeko will get a vinyl Baby for free with their order. And it's one Baby per regular Wananeko, which means that if you ordered more than one you will get the same amount in Babies!

And here's my latest: Last week I went to Tokyo for my second time, to attend a very special show I was part of. It was Max Toy Co's Tokyo Cat Fight Show and it took place at the Design Festa Gallery in Harajuku. It was a very special ocasion for me because I was releasing my newest figure: Wananeko, the Yokai Cat. It took me some months of very hard work but it was totally worth it: people loved Wananeko and it sold out! Now I'm preparing more figures for an international release, because only people in Tokyo could get their hands on the first run.
